Speaker: Andrew Mora

Speaker Bio: I am a SQL Server enthusiast and greatly enjoy the SQL Server community. I am fortunate enough to get paid to help companies with SQL Server operational tasks such as: architecture and design, performance tuning, SSIS package development, data migrations as well as short term stop gaps for DBA walk out or extended leave. Frequently the short term stop gap engagements lead to longer term coaching on how to build and retain a DBA team. The build and retain sessions are typically held with leadership as well as the new DBA team members.

Started my career back in 1999 as a CRM administrator, the CRM platform required a lot of SQL love

After being RIF’ed from Bombardier, I was hired as a DBA from the 2 lines on my resume containing the words SQL Server

I feel in love with SQL Server and held various DBA jobs, then started my own company E6 Agency where we primarily do migrations and operational DBA work, but at times have been hired to help build DBA teams
