In Pair Programming, two programmers sharing a single workstation. One programmer, called the “driver,” writes the code. The other programmer, the “navigator,” focuses on reviewing the code. The programmers swap roles on a regular basis. This technique often produces better code and is a great opportunity to share best practices and facilitate mentoring.
