AZGiveCamp is a weekend Hackathon-of-Help where we code it forward to help local non-profits in need of web sites and programs.
We start Friday after work, and deliver completed solutions Sunday afternoon. Sleep is optional, meals and caffeine provided.
Park after 4PM in Garage off 1st St north of Washington:
When you arrive, you will be able to talk to each of the Non-Profits about what they do and what their needs are. Then, pick a project you want to work on and start talking with your teammates about what to build. Be sure to define your Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and get that deployed as quickly as possible. Once the MVP has been delivered, we can work on features to really add value for the organization.
Projects we will be working with this weekend:
Arcosanti - An IoT project to collect sensor data and push to an internal data store
Furnishing Dignity - A Progressive Web App with an API/repository
Patches Animal Rescue - A website highlighting animals that can be fostered
Community Cause - A marketplace to connect donors to those who need donations
Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation - A simple inventory management system
