Intro to Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality Modeling in Blender

Have you ever wanted to know how to make 3D images for Virtual and Augmented Reality? This class is the perfect opportunity to get you up and running using the Blender. What is Blender? It is a free open-source program, that is powerful with a lot of options and flexibility. By the end of class, you will have the opportunity to create animated in-game models even if you're a complete novice!

We will cover subjects, including:

• How to Install Blender

• Navigating the Interface (What do all these buttons do?)

• How to Customize Layout

• Intro to Modeling

• Basics of Animation


• Your laptop. (Please note: A netbook or tablet is not a substitute.)

• A 3 button mouse

• A modern browser with either Chrome and the "Web Developer" extension or Firefox and Firebug installed.

• Download Blender 2.79 or higher ( )
