Linux Group: The A* algoritm, OpenCV, xclip, and a dive into the kernel!

TEK Systems 700 N. Hurstbourne Pkwy The 700 Room , Louisville, KY (map)

Looks like a really interesting program lining up for this Wednesday's KyOSS meeting!

-- Coleman will tell us about the A* ('a-star') algorithm -- used in pathfinding and graph traversal -- and OpenCV, a real-time computer vision library

-- Barton will tell us about xclip, a command line utility that provides an interface to the Linux clipboard

-- Michael will lead us all through 'a dive into the Linux kernel'

-- Plus the usual chit-chat and impellingly intellectual discourse. And pizza!

Our thanks to TEK-Systems for putting up with us (and furnishing the venue and pizza).

Come and join us! We usually have between 15 and 20 Linux users, admins, and programmers show up. Good conversation and networking and, often, a great presentation or two.

If we don't have an announced program, feel free to come with a discussion topic or a presentation to make to us! (Or just come and join the conversation!)

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month.
