*Joint meetup with Houston MUG and Azure User Group (https://www.meetup.com/AzureHouston/)*
According to Stack Overflow, MongoDB is the most desired database and 70% percent of Microsoft customers are currently using MongoDB on Azure. Developers have long loved MongoDB for it's ease of use, driven by it's dynamic schema and the document model. This has allowed organizations to quickly deploy applications and iterate new features.
Now, with the addition of MongoDB Atlas (https://www.mongodb.com/cloud/atlas), MongoDB offers a fully managed database-as-a-service (DBaaS) native to Azure. Companies are leveraging MongoDB Atlas to deliver differentiating applications more quickly and cost effectively, as well to modernize legacy monolithic applications.
On October 11th at 6:30 PM, please join MongoDB as we host the Azure User Group. Dawoud Ibrahim, MongoDB Sr. Solutions Architect, will provide an introduction to MongoDB, demonstrates the ease MongoDB Atlas and MongoDB Stitch (https://www.mongodb.com/cloud/stitch), as well as answers your questions. This will be an interactive, demo-heavy session and ZERO prior knowledge on all of these topics is assumed. Also, we won’t be recording or streaming this discussion: it’s in-person only.
