The Art Institute of Houston 4140 Southwest Freeway , Houston, TX 77027 (map)

We will be joined by James Lewis via live stream who is a Producer with the Microsoft Mixer Developer Success Team. James had three amazing years of helping the top Independent Developers launch titles across Xbox One and Windows 10, he now is helping them to grow their communities on Mixer. As a Producer on the Mixer team he works with Publishers and Developers globally to help them meet their streaming and community goals.

Here are some of the key features for Mixer.

FTL (Faster Than Light) Technology

While other platforms leave you waiting 2-5 seconds, our streaming protocol delivers content with less than one second of latency.

Be part of the game

Interactivity is the cornerstone of everything we offer. From selecting built-in soundboards and visual elements, to 4-player co-streams, viewers can interact with their favorite streamers in ways that are deeper, more personal, and (most importantly) more fun.

Broadcast your gameplay

Mixer makes it easy to start streaming your gameplay. In just a couple of clicks, you can easily start broadcasting on Windows 10 or Xbox One – no extra software required.

The first built-in cooperative streaming experience on a streaming platform where up to 4 streamers can combine their streams into a single viewer experience. With up to three other friends, you can launch a stream with separate stream sources in one shared Mixer page and one centralized chat.
