WTF is A11y?

Many of us have heard the numbers of users who need accessibility settings, but how do you actually make an app accessible? This talk will cover some basic ways to increase the accessibility of your app, how to use and test with accessibility settings, and tricks to make your app usable by everybody.

About Lora:

Lora Kulm is a designer turned developer with over half a decade worth of experience developing Android apps. She's worked on everything from video players to children's apps, and enjoys hiking with her two dogs and sewing in her spare time.

About the Droids:

Each 3rd Tuesday of the month, we meet in Downtown Denver. From 5:30-6pm we will socialize and enjoy food and drinks. At 6pm we will either have a presentation about a new/interesting Android topic, or we'll work on a group project. If you are a new or experienced Android developer, or just someone that is curious about Android development, we hope you will join us and become a regular participant!
