The Internet of Things (IoT) can gather real-time data about every physical aspect of an organizations operating environment. However, turning that information into insight requires the ability to produce visual analytics from raw streaming data. That's outside the range of legacy BI and visual analytics tools. They simply weren't designed for modern data sources, self-service and real-time analytics. This presentation will examine IoT analytics from the vantage point of Apache Kafka, suitable reference architectures, common IoT uses cases, and coupling Machine Learning capabilities for a robust IoT solution.
