Kubernetes is all about running and managing containerized workloads but what does this mean in a data-driven world. Let's dive in an explore some of the ways to run Postgres on Kubernetes, what resources we can leverage, and explore how to properly care and feed our database once it is alive under K8s.

Chris Weibel is an Engineering Team Lead at Stark & Wayne and has worked on several projects including SHIELD & RDPG. The last five years have been spent helping deploy and maintain Cloud Foundry. A former DBA, SAN administrator, and developer in the regulated banking, utilities and healthcare industries, he has focused on discovering what DevOps teams need to make their lives easier.

Davis Hall is on White Rd, not far from the Bookstore. The Jarvis B lot is just across the road. No parking permit is required after 3PM.

We'll continue our tradition of light refreshments and socialization before and after the talk. The floor will be open from 7:00 to 7:15 PM for anyone that would like to give a lightning talk.
