Join for free and connect with our local tech scene
Stay on top of the latest companies and upcoming events with our weekly newsletter, and be counted among the people building the future of your local tech community.
Join us to learn about She's Coding, a non-profit, open-source project working towards closing the gender gap in tech, and about how you can become involved. She's Coding is based on two pillars: its website that provides resources for women, allies & companies, and is being actively developed by volunteers, and its community, both online on Slack and offline via meetups and other events.
What is going to happen?
We will use the morning hours to discuss the current status quo of She's Coding, and outline our plans for the remainder of this year. We will review our volunteer coding efforts and meetings, and see where and how we can improve. We will discuss and vote on upcoming features to work on, will outline our current volunteer needs, and more.
Most of the afternoon will be dedicated to actual collaborative work including Trello task grooming, building of working groups around features, coding within existing working groups, etc.
Join us for part of the day, drop-in at anytime, or stay for all of it - we'll be happy to see you and maybe have you join our volunteer team!
