Twilio and Women Who Code Seattle are delighted to host this post-Valentines day tech love celebration featuring the incomparable Charity Majors! Join us for wine, chocolate, dinner, networking, and a whole lot of facinating tech talk this February 15th!
Charity will be talking about the future of observability, why it’s not the same as monitoring, why we are all distributed systems engineers now, and a bunch more.
Our tentative schedule:
5pm - 6pm: happy hour / networking
6pm - 6:15: WWC Seattle announcements and introductions
6:15 - 6:30: survey and Twilio demo
6:30 - 8pm: Charity Majors dropping knowledge
8pm - 9pm: give aways and socializing
Charity is the co-author of the truly outstanding book, Database Reliability Engineering. We'll be giving away at least one copy as a door prize, and Charity will have a few amazing rainbow unicorn stickers available for those who want to upgrade their cover.
Charity is also the founder and CEO of honeycomb.io - a company that provides cutting edge tooling bringing observability to distributed systems.
Plenty of food and drink will be available throughout the evening, with dinner options provided beginning at 6pm. Onsite professional childcare will be available from 5pm until 9pm.
Scheduled activities will wrap up about 8pm, but we have reserved the space through 9pm so those inclined may take their time finishing up food and drink, and conversing.
By attending you agree to abide by the WWC Code of Conduct.
