Gunnar Leinberg, a respected attorney with decades of intellectual property experience, will be joining us to share his thoughts on IP strategies for early-stage companies. He is currently a partner at LeClairRyan, where he “regularly counsels and assists clients with licensing, open source issues, intellectual property opinions, due diligence, and intellectual property litigation matters.”

Gunnar has worked in a wide variety of technology areas, including computer software and hardware, Internet and electronic commerce, and medical devices, to name just a few. He has provided counsel to clients ranging from independent inventors and startups to Fortune 100 enterprises.

This promises to be an engaging, informative session, and we’re looking forward to seeing many of you on Friday.

As always, your contribution of $8 will be appreciated. A full breakfast buffet will be available. Please RSVP so we can provide an accurate headcount to the venue.

If you haven't gone to these ...

Somehow, Mark gets remarkably accomplished people to show up as speakers @OpenCoffeeClub. People you'd generally have to pay to hear. As it's unstructured and they take questions, it's a lot more like a conversation than a speech - you learn more.

For folks more in tech, meaning computing, meaning webby-stuff, It's comfortable to hang out with other nerds of the same tribe. If you're serious, it can be incredibly useful to listen to people who've already had problems you might be lucky enough to achieve some day. (Google's just a clever search algorithm. No IP there, right?)
