Of course, we are here to help you get all your WordPress questions answered too.
Introductions: Who are you? What are you working on? What brings you to the meetup?

Strategies to Effectively Extend WordPress.
Extending WordPress above and beyond core functionality is part of what makes WordPress so powerful.
However, the sheer number of plugins available can be overwhelming.
A strategy for evaluating plugins makes both developing managing WordPress easier.
Kathy will share some key evaluation factors and comparison tools, discuss paid versus free plugins (do you get what you pay for?), managing plugins/updates, researching plugin security history, and identifying risky functionality.
General networking, chit-chatting, cleanup, and head out.
Elevate closes at 9PM, so we usually head over to a local restaurant for some snacks, beverages (adult and otherwise) and more great conversation.
