The Elements of Voice User Interface Design

Comcast Center 1701 John F Kennedy Boulevard Ralph's Cafe (43rd Floor) Philadelphia, PA 19103 (map)

In the last few years, we've seen the rise of Voice First devices — devices where the interaction is primarily carried out by just speaking and listening from companies such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft make their way to millions of homes. PhillyCHI is thrilled to host guest speaker Dr. Ahmed Bouzid, for an evening on sharing the opportunities now available to experience designers interested in designing for Voice First experiences.

We’ll kick-off the night with a demonstration by Comcast’s Experience Design Team of their current line of products, followed by a talk by Dr. Bouzid on the history of voice usability and the challenges of working in the space. We’ll conclude the evening with a panel discussion between Dr. Bouzid and the Comcast team on the direction of Voice UX, with plenty of time for audience Q&A.

Please note: Due to security at the Comcast Center, you must be registered to attend this event and present your ID when you check in. Registration is non-transferable and will close on Wednesday, October 4 at 5:00pm. ID will be required to access the Comcast Center.
