Going all in with Functional C#

We will meet on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at Modis' offices at 101 Bullitt Lane. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the presentations will begin sharply at 7:00 pm. Along with a great presentation, we'll have food and raffle prizes. Be sure to RSVP so we know how much food is needed. Afterwards, we go to BJ's Restaurant to continue the conversation.

Going all in with Functional C#

In this session we will learn about C# features that support the style of functional programming. We’ll learn what new features were added in C# 7.1 with live demos. The pros/cons of functional vs. imperative programming will be explored to understand the strengths of each style.

- Advanced LINQ concepts (Yeild)

- Extension methods and pipe-lining
