DerbyPy: Authorization Using GraphQL and Django

At our February monthly meetup we welcome back Colan Connon, a software engineer at Generation Tux. Back in October Colan introduced the DerbyPy community to a new approach for API design called GraphQL. During that talk, Colan showed us how to get started building a GraphQL backend using Python. GraphQL allows developers to easily expose data, but it can be tricky to protect information sensitive to a specific user. This month Colan will go over how to set up a GraphQL server using Django and explain how to implement proper authorization.
