6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Denver Founders Q&A with Marcie Tucker, Ph.D. & Founder of 99Agree.com
5pm - We are fortunate this month that Veterans In Residence Jedi Mike Moyer is flying in from Chicago to speak about "Perfectly Fair Equity Splits for Bootstrapped Startups". A big thanks to Patriot Boot Camp (PBC) & WeWork Veterans In Residence & (www.getHarvest.com). They will be providing some tasty treats for everyone!
Creating an unfair equity split with partners is not only one of the most devastating mistakes founders can make, but also one of the most common. Key Lessons:
- Why conventional fixed-split equity models set founders up for failure
- How to implement a dynamic equity model that is perfectly fair to all participants
- What to do when partners or employees quit or get fired

6:30pm, Q&A with Marcie Tucker, Ph.D. & Founder of 99Agree.com
99Agree is a software company devoted to helping people learn to live, share, and get along with the people they live with. Their target market is college/universities populations who are sharing spaces for the first time. Unresolved roommate conflict is one of the top 5 reasons students leave school.
Marcie Tucker, Ph.D. earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in College Student Personnel (the study of college students and what happens in college). In 2008 while working at the University of Colorado Boulder, Marcie identified that roommate conflicts were escalating and the current means of preventing them through either roommate matching or a paper roommate agreement weren’t working well enough. She partnered with her technology colleagues and involved students to create a test product launched in 2009 at CU Boulder. From[masked] she developed the product so it could be implemented on any campus and in 2015 she earned the opportunity to expand beyond CU Boulder.
She is recognized as an expert on roommate relationships, speaker and workshop facilitator at international conferences and her writings on roommate relationships are highly read.
