Java Security: Five of OWASP's Top Ten

Tech Elevator 7100 Euclid Ave., Suite 140 , Cleveland, OH (map)

The  Open Web Application Security (OWASP) Project has taken on the task, since 2004, of releasing a Web Vulnerability Top 10 list. Using 11 large datasets from firms that specialize in application security, OWASP has put together a list of the most common web vulnerabilities seen in commercial software. We're going to take a look at the top 5 vulnerabilities from the still-in-progress 2017 list and how to best prevent them in our Java-based web applications.
