Charleston Women in Tech and BoomTown ( are excited to announce our next meetup! Come check out BoomTown's awesome new space and be inspired by our guest speaker, Halle Tecco! From her years of experience in the tech industry, Halle will discuss her journey and share her thoughts on the gender gap, as well as provide us with some invaluable insights!

This event is intended for students and professionals, interested in connecting with other women in the tech industry. Men are welcome to come and support our women members!

Bio for Halle Tecco

Halle Tecco is an angel investor and Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School. Previously, she founded and ran Rock Health in San Francisco. Halle started her career working in finance and business development roles at Intel and Apple. She is currently an advisor to BoomTown, MUSC, the Harvard Medical School Department of Biomedical Informatics, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Halle received her MBA from Harvard Business School. She has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNBC. She has spoken at TechCrunch DISRUPT, Aspen Ideas Festival, CES, WIRED Life, and was a SXSW 2016 Keynote Speaker. She currently splits her time between Brooklyn, NY and Charleston, SC.
