Summerville March Meetup - Getting Started with Multilingual Websites on WP

Dorchester County Library Summerville 76 Old Trolley Rd , Summerville, SC (map)

Join us on Tuesday, March 7 for a Summerville meetup on Multilingual Websites with WordPress. Launching a multilingual website might sound ambitious, but it’s well within your grasp, especially with WordPress. Implementing a multilingual WordPress website can expand your reach exponentially if you implement it correctly.

During this talk, we'll cover a few options to accomplish the task, go over a few items you'll need to consider, and go through a quick demo and/or case study.

Our Speaker is Karl Hudson Phillips! Karl is an accredited multi-disciplinary designer/developer, project manager, intrepid traveler and voracious reader. He has a passion for pixel perfect design, creative collaboration, jazz and a keen eye for detail. He spends his days crafting experiences and interfaces as a Web Developer at BlueKey - an award-winning digital agency in the heart of Charleston, SC.

In his spare time, he serves as the Program Curator for 3 events geared at making current and emerging industry trends and practices readily available to the web design, marketing, application development and creative communities. These events include Refresh Charleston, Revolve Conference and Syntax Code & Craft Convention.
